Hopefully, you have been able to check out our web page,
www.DorcasMedical.org, recently. After many months of dormancy, it is
now up-to-date and current with each month's newsletters as well as photos from
our outreaches. If you are computer literate and would like to receive your
newsletters via email, just return the enclosed Prayer Request with your email
address and we will add you to our online address book.
February Outreach
We are continuing our plans for our February Outreach,
tentatively scheduled for Sunday, February 15, - Monday, March 9. It promises to
be a busy time for all of us as we are looking forward to going as a family once
again. In addition to the clinics that we will conduct for 5-6 days in the
villages, we will simultaneously be continuing the process of acquiring the land
in Yauiri. This is to put it legally in our name as we reinforce our
relationship with the Christian brethren there. During and after the week of
clinics, we will be participating in or conducting several conferences in
churches in Maiduguri, Bauchi and of course Jos where, I believe, this will be
the 21st year for the P&M Conference there.
Welcome Aboard
If you would like to join us for all or part of this outreach we
would welcome your participation. You can help us during the operation of the
clinics regardless of your medical experience. As the kids can attest, there is
plenty of work for everyone to do. Or perhaps you would like to touch literally
10's of thousands of lives by teaching and preaching to their pastors and
leaders during the conferences we will be carrying out. Whatever your expertise,
your desire to help and make a difference will be greatly appreciated and put to
good use. Just let us know your intentions by returning the enclosed Prayer
Request ASAP.
February Budget
We ask you to prayerfully consider partnering with us in meeting the outstanding budget for the February Outreach of $12,000. Your pledge or one-time offering to assist with this expense is greatly appreciated.
